Mia Marchenko – Ukrainian writer and translator, Ph.D in Literary Studies (urban texts), loves trees, plants and their magic. Author of the urban fantasy novel «City of Shadows», awarded with the «Koronatsia Slova» the «Debut of the Year in Prose» award from the literary portal BaraBuka and the Korniychukovskiy Literary Award in 2016. Mia’s third book, «Maika Palyvoda chooses her profession» («Chytarium», 2021) was also awarded the Vsevolod Nestayko National Literary Prize, 2023.
