Maryna Ponomarenko was born in 1984 in the village of Hryhorivka, Kyiv Region.
She graduated from the Kyiv State University of Theater, Film and TV named after I. Karpenko-Kary (specialisation – film and TV dramaturgy, workshop of Bohdan Zholdak).
Author of the poetry collection «The Book of Love and Fury». Based on her poems, the play «Hold on to the Emptiness» (directed by Tamara Antropova), as well as the performance «Dig» (directed by Olena Vahrameeva) was created.
