Yana Honcharenko

Yana Honcharenko is the Chief Communications & Sustainability Officer at Starlight Media, where she leads the company’s veteran support policies, social impact initiatives, and corporate communications.

She is one of the co-initiators of the Ukrainian business coalition “Principles of Veteran-Friendly Business”, a cross-sector initiative uniting leading companies around standards for the fair reintegration, support, and inclusion of veterans and veterans’ families.

Yana also works on advancing the fair and respectful representation of veterans’ experiences in media and cultural products. Her work focuses on the intersection of media, human rights, social cohesion, and veteran reintegration during the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war.
