Ukrainian writer, translator, cultural manager, a member of PEN Ukraine and NGO “New York Literary Festival” established by Victoriya Amelina in Donetsk region. Award winning author of nearly 20 books for children and several collections of poetry. Kateryna’s poems and books for children were translated into more than 10 languages, including Polish, Croatian, German, Czech, Spanish, English etc were translated into more than 10 languages. Since November 2022 she coordinates an initiative aimed at helping Ukrainian Armed Forces started by Lithuanian writers and publishing community.
Kateryna lives in Lviv with her family and three rescued dogs.
