Danylo Lubkivsky

Danylo Lubkivsky is a Ukrainian public intellectual and diplomat, author of publications on international relations, foreign policy, and cultural diplomacy. He previously served as an adviser to the President and Prime Minister of Ukraine.

Born in 1975 in Lviv, he graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. He began his diplomatic career in 1998, serving at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and at Ukraine’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations.

In 2014, he served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in the first government formed after the Revolution of Dignity. He was responsible for political analysis and planning, strategic communications, and public diplomacy. He also initiated the establishment of the Ukrainian Institute, a national institution dedicated to promoting Ukrainian culture and advancing knowledge about Ukraine internationally.

For many years, he served as Director of the Kyiv Security Forum and later became a member of its Supervisory Board.
