Jean-Claude Marcadé

Historian of literature and art, Honorary Director of Research at the French National Center for Cultural Research (C.N.R.S), head of the Community of Antoine Pevsner’s Friends, curator and researcher. For many years, Marcadé has researched Ukrainian and Russian avant-garde, including the phenomenon of Kazimir Malevich.

The Book Arsenal will present the French-language version of Kazimir Malévitch. La Période Kiévienne 1928-1930 (Kazimir Malevich: The Kyiv Period of 1928-1930). Jean-Claude Marcadé is academic editor and translator for it.
