Maryana Mamonova

A doctor, captain of the Medical Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a participant of the Russian-Ukrainian war. She served in Mariupol from the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. There she hid in the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works and saved the lives of others. Even before her capture, Maryana informed her family that she was pregnant. On April 4, she was held captive by the Russian occupiers in Olenivka. On September 21, Maryana was released from captivity.
