Vikhola Publishers is a Kyiv-based publishing house which specializes in books by Ukrainian authors only. It is not limited to topics and strives to publish high-quality and interesting products for Ukrainians—from psychology, entrepreneurship, lifestyle and popular science to the most diverse genres of fiction: detective stories, thrillers, love novels, lyrics or war prose. Books of the publishing house became winners or were included in the short lists of such awards as BBC Book of the Year, Shevchenko National Prize 2023, Best Books of 2022 according to PEN Ukraine and others.
Over four years of its existence, the publishing house has launched several series: the Popular Science series, in which contemporary the works by Ukrainian scientists-popularizers of science are published, the series of Ukrainian classic fiction with literary scholars’ comments, Non-Сanonical Сanon and the series of Ukrainian classics in the gift format, with prefaces by Ukrainian literary scholars and afterwords by famous artists, critics and experts.
