Ukrainian Jewish Encounter

The purpose and task of Ukrainian Jewish Encounter is to deepen the understanding of the breadth, complexity and diversity of Ukrainian-Jewish relations over the centuries with a future perspective, to enable both peoples to understand each other’s historical experience and narratives; to deal with rooted stereotypes; to promote mutual awareness of long periods of peaceful coexistence, cooperation and intercultural interaction; to contribute to the strengthening of national identities on the basis of deeper Ukrainian-Jewish understanding and mutual respect.
