Oleh Kostiuk

Oleh Kostiuk is a Ukrainian writer, a participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war, who went to the front line as a volunteer in 2015. For one year and a half, he had served on the front line in the east of Ukraine. He wrote two books: Frontline (short stories, 2021) and Sorrow and Madness (an anti-novel, 2022). In the anti-novel Sorrow and Madness the hero plunges into the atmosphere of the Russian-Ukrainian war and faces death. This changes him, forces him to analyze his life and perceive it in a new way.
