Halyna Kruk (1974) is an poet and prose writer from Lviv. She is the author of 6 books of poetry, a collection of short stories, and 4 books for children. She has won numerous awards, including the shortlist for the 2024 Griffin Poetry Prize, the Sundara Ramaswamy Prize, 2022 Kovaliv Foundation Prize, the BookForum Best Book Prize-2021, and more. Her works were translated into more than 30 languages, and her most recent books are Crash Course in Molotov Cocktails (2023) and Lost in Life (2024).
