Akhtem is a Ukrainian actor and film director of Crimean Tatar origin. He is a Merited Artist of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. He is the Director of the Crimean House state enterprise. Akhtem directed the films Cyborgs, Haytarma, and Someone Else’s Prayer. On 25 February 2022, he voluntarily enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Currently, he leads the public relations service of the 241st Separate Territorial Defence Battalion.
