In 2014, she worked as a safety engineer in Novoazovsk, Donetsk Oblast. At the beginning of the war, she helped to resettle the IDPs. At the end of the summer of 2014, her city was occupied. Liudmyla helped the orphanage in Prymorske: she brought shoes and clothes, as well as Ukrainian books, to the children from the orphanage in the government-controlled territory of Ukraine. In 2019, she was arrested. Lyudmyla was held in prison for 3 years. Now she defends the rights of other women.
