Veronika Chebanik

The profession of Veronika’s father, a graphic artist and calligrapher, developer of the modern Ukrainian alphabet, Vasyl Yakovych Chebanyk, captivated Veronika with calligraphy. For 11 years of teaching at the “Art i Ya” calligraphy school, she provided a base for many calligraphers who are known today in Ukraine. Veronika developed the first educational prescriptions in Ukrainian cursive and Western styles.
