Kateryna Datsenko

Kateryna is a journalist, civic activist, and co-founder of the NGO Vshanui, an organization that develops and promotes commemorative practices in Ukraine. Together with
team, I have created practical guidelines for implementing the national Minute of Silence across institutions, businesses, and local communities. We are currently working on the Flag Retirement Ceremony and remembrance in schools.
Kateryna graduated from the National University of Ostroh Academy and is currently studying at the Kyiv School of Economics in the master’s program “Memory studies and Public History.”
