Andrzej Nowak (b. 1960) – is a Polish historian, professor at the Institute of History of Jagiellonian University and at the Institute of History at the Polish Academy of Sciences. His books on Eastern European history have been translated and published in the UK, Germany, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Romania. He lectured as a visiting professor at several universities in the US (Columbia, Harvard, Rice), UK (Cambridge, University College of London), Canada, Ireland, Japan.
