Born in Moscow in 1958. 1981 – Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of History ( MA). 1981- 1983 – Gorky Literary Institute (Moscow), Yiddish group of the Advanced Literary Courses. 1993-1997 – Yiddish Literary Magazine “Sovetish Heimland”. 1988-1989 – Literary consultant of the Kyiv Jewish theater “Mazltov”. 1990 – Aliya to Israel. Bar-Ilan University, Department of Literature of the Jewish People, Ph,D. 1999. 2019 to present – editor of the Yiddish Literary Quaterly “Yidishland”.
