Bookstores may be everywhere (and this is a good thing), but Book Lion is not just a bookstore. It has become the third place. Something important between home and work. The place where you fill up intellectually, emotionally and aesthetically. The place where you feel you belong.
This year we have dreamed of working on the Art Books section. In fact, we wanted to present it during last year’s Book Arsenal as well, thus, as you can see, some things have remained unchanged…
So what do we plan to do in the Art Books section?
We will compile a range of editions not at the top level that we currently observe in the vast majority of bookstores. We plan to fuss a bit and introduce one-book publishing houses (that is what we call them among ourselves—the publishing houses that have published 1-2 books, but these are very important books in their category!), because we work with them anyway, no matter how difficult it is. We are constantly in search of the niche masterpieces that will surprise not only guests of Book Arsenal, but also our colleagues in the market.
