The publishing house, as a part of the izhakultura scientific and educational project, was created by Artem and Olena Braichenko with the aim of popularizing current scientific research in gastronomy, supporting and spreading the developments of the Ukrainian scientists working in the field of food research.
The publishing house team strives to preserve and convey to readers ancient culinary techniques, folk recipes, regional food practices, which are a part of Ukrainians’ intangible heritage, as well as to update other important issues related to gastronomic research from such promising areas as anthropology of food, food safety, the history of gastronomic culture.
Directions of activity:
• publication of scientific monographs, interdisciplinary research related to food and nutrition;
• translations of specialized gastronomic literature;
• author’s culinary editions of Ukrainian chefs;
• culinary gift books and art editions.
