Halyna Tkachuk (born 1985) is Ukrainian author, editor and translator. She studied at the National University «Kyiv-Mohyla Academy» and completed a master’s degree in literature.
Halyna is the author of over 20 books mostly for children and teenagers. Her children’s books have won many awards in Ukraine, including BaraBooka Awards and BBC Children’s Book of the Year.
Also she teaches creative writing, and manages writing clubs at the Taras Shevchenko Central Library for the children of Kyiv.
