Oksana Rubaniak «Ksena» is a servicewoman, a platoon commander of Ukrainian Armed Forces, a poet, a writer and a public activist.
On February 24, 2022, Oksana joined the Voluntary Formation of the Ivano-Frankivsk Territorial Community No. 3, and then – Ukrainian Armed Forces. For one and a half years, she was the only woman among the servicemen of the machine gun platoon of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after «Chorni Zaporozhtsi» military unit. At the beginning of 2024 she became a platoon commander of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
