At the beginning of the large-scale war in 2022, Yevhen Dubrovskyi went to the front line as a volunteer and served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a military doctor of a combat battalion in Donbas, within the 110th brigade, which was performing the task of defending Avdiivka. In 2023, he was demobilized and received the status of a combatant. He is awarded War Veteran, For Impeccable Medical Service and For the Defense of Avdiivka medals.
