Laboratoria

Laboratoria is a Ukrainian publishing house founded in 2020 by Anton Martynov, who in the past was a co-owner of Nash Format Publishing House (2012-2019).

This is the only publishing house in Ukraine that publishes each book in three formats for the maximum comfort of the reader—the paper, electronic and audiobook formats. The basis of the publishing portfolio of Laboratoria are fresh and relevant Western editions, books by the Nobel Prize and the Pulitzer Prize winners.

In 2022, the Ukrainian editorial board began publishing works by Ukrainian authors, and in 2023 these books won prestigious literary awards: short and long lists of BBC Book of the Year, KBU AWARDS 2023 in the category Books about the War, the list of Best Books of 2023 according to PEN Ukraine. The rights to the books covering the Russian-Ukrainian war were sold to Slovakia, Korea and the USA.

Over the first few years of activity, Laboratoria already has many bestsellers, including works by such authors as Massimo Pigliucci and Gregory Lopez, Anna Lembke, Laurence Rees, Scott Kaufman, a novel by the Ukrainian author Anastasiia Levkova and others.
