Jakob Wunderwald is a translator, academic and PhD reasearcher at the University of Potsdam. He has translated works by Valerian Pidmohylny, Olena Stiazhkina and others. His academic work is focused on contemporary and Soviet Belarusian literature with a primary focus on aspects of gender, nation building and literary conceptions of «truth«.
