I once thought urban planning was just about cities. I was wrong. Growing up in Koziivka shaped me. Villages are about people and their connections — what I call local culture, as I wrote in “Orynyn”. From my grandmother’s “agusi” to now, I see myself as more than a “city builder.” I am a village researcher.
