Mia Marchenko

Mia Marchenko — is a writer, working in the genre of urban fantasy, translator and Ph.D and is also deeply fascinated by plant magic. Mia’s first novel, “Misto Tiney” (2016), has received numerous literary awards. Her third book, “Mayka Palyvoda”, was awarded the V. Nestayko National Prize (2023). Her novel “Children of the Fiery Time”, co-written with Kateryna Pekur, received the Fantasy of the Year award in 2024. Mia’s essays have been translated into Latvian and English.
