Practitioner of ideas, writer, theatre director and translator. President of the Borderland Foundation and the International Center for Dialog in Krasnogruda. Director of the Centre “Borderland of Arts, Cultures and Nations” in Sejny, Poland. Among his book are “A Small Center of the World” (Tischner Prize for the essayistic book of the year), and “Toward Xenopolis. Visions from the Borderland” (awarded by the Ambassador of New Europe Prize), published in Ukraine by “Dukh i Litera”.
