Halyna Kruk is a Lviv-based poet and prose writer, translator and scholar. She is the author of 7 poetry books, a collection of short stories, and 4 books for children, translated into 30 languages, among them Crash Course in Molotov Cocktails (2023) and Lost in Life (2024). Finalist of the Griffin Poetry Prize (2024) and American PEN (2025), Women in Art Prize (2023), the Kovaliv Foundation Prize (2022), the BookForum Best Book Prize (2021), and more. She is a member of PEN Ukraine.
