Translator and editor, Odile Melnik-Ardin has translated over 30 fiction pieces and essays from Ukrainian and Russian into French. These include works by Dostoyevsky, Brodsky, Yerofeyev, and French Walk, a comics book on French culture in Kyiv. Melnik-Ardin used to teach Russian literature at the preparation department of the prestigious Paris-based Lycée Fénelon.
Melnik-Ardin is the editor of the French-language edition of Vita Susak’s monograph Ukrainian Artists of Paris. 1900-1939 (Rodovid, 2010). Together with Jean-Claude Marcadé, she translated Kazimir Malévitch. La Période Kiévienne 1928-1930 which will be presented at the Book Arsenal.
