Exhibition of war sketches by Sashko Komiakhov
It all started as a study of military themes for my graphic novel DAD 2, and then it grew into field research of frontline soldiers and their environment. This was inspired by volunteers I knew and friends who were serving in the military. Eventually, I joined the Armed Forces, where I continued to make “memory imprints” of times that hopefully will be hard to imagine for our descendants.
